Elle Fanning gushes over boyfriend Gus Wenner: 'He grounds me'

Elle Fanning has praised her boyfriend Gus Wenner for keeping her grounded amid her hectic schedule.

The Sentimental Value actress has opened up about her relationship with the Rolling Stone executive chairman, whom she has been dating since 2023.

Speaking to ELLE UK, Elle explained that Gus has become a stabilising presence in her life, particularly when she struggles to switch off from work.

"He's come into my life and he grounds me," she said. "He will be like, we need to do a getaway this weekend, so he'll plan something for us."

The 28-year-old also shared that the 35-year-old businessman has fitted seamlessly into her close-knit family, including her actress sister Dakota Fanning.

"I love him so much. He feels like a family member - like, my sister loves him, and my mom," she told the publication.

Discussing her living arrangements, Elle revealed she divides her time between Los Angeles and New York.

"Half my stuff is with him (in New York), and half my stuff is here (in LA) in a rental," she stated. "I definitely spend a lot more time in New York these days. I don't know exactly where I'll end up..."

Elsewhere in the interview, the Margo's Got Money Troubles actress described herself as a romantic at heart.

"I'm a sucker for romance and I'm a sentimental person. I love objects and little reminders of the past to mark chapters in my life," she shared. "I save every note that my boyfriend has given me."

Elle and Gus were first linked in November 2023 after they were spotted walking hand in hand in New York City. They made their red carpet debut at the Golden Globes in January 2024.
