Blake Lively: Christmas is about family

Blake Lively is going to do “nothing” but spend time with family this Christmas.
The Gossip Girl actress can’t wait to take a break from work and relax with loved ones. Blake will be celebrating her first Christmas as a married woman this year, after marrying Ryan Reynolds in September.
“I come from a big family so the holidays for me is just the time that I’m excited to do nothing, but spend time with my family,” she said in a video interview.
Along with a passion for acting and fashion, Blake is known for her love of cooking. The 25-year-old shares her food fascination with her family and she thinks creating delicious meals is the perfect way to show your love for someone.
Blake also plans to show her competitive side by playing plenty of games with her family during the festive season.
“We love to cook and eat and play games. And so much a part of that, too, is just everybody coming together and celebrating so we always cook our meals together and that is such an amazing experience,” she explained. “So much love pours into the food – and so much love pours out of it when you're consuming it – so that was always an iconic part of the holidays for me.”
