Brooke Mueller has accused Denise Richards of breaching her court-ordered vow of silence.
Brooke has apparently made the claim in the ongoing custody battle with ex-husband Charlie Sheen over her four-year-old twins Bob and Max.
Denise was recently awarded temporary charge of Charlie’s boys while Brooke is in rehab.
In an apparent effort to strip the 42-year-old actress of custody, Brooke alleges the violation happened when Denise was photographed with the twins at a preschool field trip last week.
“[Brooke contended that] Denise staged the photo op to portray Brooke as a bad mother,” a source told Radar Online. “The field trip the preschool took was to a local farm, and there were other celebs with their kids in attendance.
“Halle Berry was there with daughter, Nahla, and had her picture taken also.”
Brooke apparently sent her lawyers to child dependency court for the third time last Friday in an attempt to have her brother installed as the temporary guardian of Max and Bob.
But the judge refused to make changes to the current living arrangements of Charlie’s sons while Brooke undergoes treatment in the Betty Ford Center.
“It was a ridiculous claim for Brooke to make because there was no evidence to support her claims,” the insider added. “Denise and Charlie have both respected the gag order and haven’t spoken to the media about the situation.”
Bob and Max were taken from Brooke due to fears her drug use could endanger them.
Her 30-day stint in rehab is said to be the 20th time she has entered a treatment facility for help with her substance abuse issues.
Apparently Charlie is adamant his offspring are in Denise’s home while he carries out work commitments.
"He loves those kids," a source recently told People magazine. "But he's got a crazy work schedule, filming two shows a week and would rather they spend time with Denise and their daughters than with a nanny at his empty house."
