Elizabeth Olsen desperately wants to star in a Woody Allen film.

The 24-year-old was known simply as the younger sister of actresses-turned-fashion designers Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen for years until striking out on her own.

The ingénue skyrocketed to fame with a role in the critically acclaimed 2011 drama Martha Marcy May Marlene.

Since then her life and career seem to have moved at warp speed.

"The last two years have felt like four because things have changed so much," she told Entertainment Weekly.

Elizabeth is now setting lofty goals for herself.

She has a laundry list of directors she'd like to work for. At the top of her career bucket list is acclaimed filmmaker Woody Allen.

"He's so amazing," she gushed, adding she'd also "love to work with P.T. and Wes Anderson. Oh, and Charlie Kaufman."

Elizabeth has plenty to look forward to in the coming months as her career is blossoming.

She recently completed filming Spike Lee's mystery drama Oldboy, alongside Samuel L. Jackson, Josh Brolin and Hannah Simone.

The young star will next be seen in the title role of Charlie Stratton thriller Therese, co-starring Tom Felton and Jessica Lange.

She also stars in John Krokidas biography drama Kill Your Darlings, co-starring Daniel Radcliffe and Michael C. Hall, as was as in Naomi Foner drama Very Good Girls, opposite Dakota Fanning and Demi Moore, this year.

Elizabeth will next begin work on Gareth Edwards's Godzilla re-boot, co-starring Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Juliette Binoche and Bryan Cranston.

The radioactive monster will terrorise cinemas once again in May of next year.
