Meet The Guvnors starts filming in London

Shooting has begun on MEET THE GUVNORS, the new film from the Metrodome production slate. A violent thriller set amongst the clans and firms of South East London, it brings two generations together in conflict. Starring Doug Allen (BAND OF BROTHERS & THE FIRM) Harley Alexander Sule (RIZZLE KICKS) David Essex (SILVER DREAM MACHINE) , Zulu One Eyed Baz, Vas Blackwood as well Jay Simpson, Melanie Gutteridge, Charley Palmer Merkell & Martin Hancock.

Written and directed by Gabe Turner (IN THE HANDS OF THE GODS) the film will be produced by Leo Pearlman (Fulwell 73 – ONE DIRECTION 3D: THIS IS US & THE CLASS OF 92) Danny Potts (TURNOUT & PIGGY) & Cass Pennant (ex ICF member and subject of the feature film CASS).

The Salt Company are handling exclusive worldwide sales. The film will be executive produced by Jezz Vernon for Metrodome Distribution, who will theatrically release in 2014.

Leo Pearlman commented: "The opportunity to work with such a talented group of iconic British actors and to produce Gabe Turner's first scripted feature was too good too miss. The script is both shocking and original in equal measure and contains those classic moments that the audience will leave the cinema talking about."

Metrodome’s recent production: horror film THE BORDERLANDS, played at Film 4’s Fright Fest and was one of the most acclaimed films of the festival. THE BORDERLANDS will screen at AFM. The Salt Company are handling international sales.
