Karen Gillan talks nakedness

Actress Karen Gillan had to do a nude scene for her latest film Not Another Happy Ending – on DVD 10th February - and shooting took so long she forgot she was next to naked.

“I was really nervous beforehand – naturally I knew I’d have to sit there all day without anything on. Actually it was fine, they strategically covered me up with flesh-coloured bits of material and also it was a closed set so there weren’t loads of crew guys walking around.”

“Everyone was just very respectful and but the end I’d forgotten I didn’t have any clothes on!”

Not Another Happy Ending is available to download 3rd February and on DVD 10th February

Karen Gillan (Doctor Who, Guardians of the Galaxy) stars in the Glasgow-set romantic comedy NOT ANOTHER HAPPY ENDING, set for release on DVD from Kaleidoscope Home Entertainment 10th February 2014. It will come with a whole host of extras including interviews with producer Claire Mundell, co-producer Wendy Griffin and director John McKay (We’ll Take Manhattan).

Written by David Solomons (Five Children and It), the film had its World Premiere at this year’s Edinburgh International Film Festival before hitting the big screen in October.

Starring alongside Karen Gillen is Stanley Weber (Thérèse, Borgia), Iain de Caestecker (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, Filth), Freya Mavor (Sunshine on Leith, Skins), Kate Dickie (Game of Thrones, Prometheus), Gary Lewis (Gangs of New York, Billy Elliot), Amy Manson (Being Human) and Henry Ian Cusick (Lost).
