Nicola Peltz’s feet “look scary” from filming Transformers.

Staring in Transformers: Age of Extinction, which hits screens from June 27, took an unexpected toll on Nicola’s body. When she signed on, the actress didn’t expect filming to involve as much running as it did.

“I can’t even wear certain open-toed heels now,” she revealed in an interview with VioletGrey. “[My feet] look so scary.”

Nicola has starred in The Last Airbender, Bates Motel and Eye of the Hurricane.

When she received the call from Transformers: Age of Extinction director Michael Bay to come on board the project she was ecstatic.

“I was so excited even though he warned me that it would be like no other movie set and that it would be really fast-moving and hard,” she exclaimed.

The actress isn’t sure what comes next, in fact she thinks “it’s best to just ignore it as much as possible”. However, she does have “specific ideas” about what roles she would like to pursue.

“I'm being really picky about it,” Nicola admitted.

Acting isn’t a new dream for the 19-year-old. In fact, she has been thinking about performing since she was 12 years old.

“I really enjoyed drama class. But my mom was very against the whole Hollywood thing. It took me a while to convince her. When I got my first play, I think she realised how serious I was about being an actress and how hard I was willing to work at it,” she explained.

Nicola also enjoys helping her photographer friend art direct as well as painting, and while the young star enjoys being photographed, she’s not looking to make it her full-time job.

“Acting is definitely my passion,” she gushed.
