Jessica Alba’s secret to a happy marriage is complaining about her husband.

The 33-year-old actress married her husband, Cash Warren, in 2008, and they have two daughters together; six-year-old Honor and Haven, two.

But far from just gossiping about her beau, Jessica believes you need a group of friends to offload on to maintain your sanity as a wife and mother.

"You’ve got to have the girls’ night out to complain about your husband or whatever it is," she told the US edition of Self magazine. "You have some fun, then you can go and enjoy the work, and you can take pride in it instead of it depleting you and being a burden”.

Jessica has a whole host of A-list friends recently posting snaps with Drake, Jaime King and Lily Aldridge on her Instagram account.

Whilst the star may enjoy the occasional night out, since becoming a mother she has had come to terms with the benefits that from aging.

"I had this ‘Aaagh!’ I’m not in my 20s anymore! What does it all mean'’ kind of freak-out," Jessica admitted. "[But] I feel much better at 33 than I did at 23, even than I did at 30”.

Even with age, Jessica’s physique has remained one of her greatest assets and she maintains a regular workout routine.

Considering this, it may come as a surprise to fans that a gym session is the last thing the Sin City actress wants to be doing.
“I hate working out. It's boring!" she laughed. "I really only did it when I had a job that was physically demanding. But from age 17 until I was 27, all I did were movies that were physically demanding—so all I did was work out all the time!"
