Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, Finding Vivian Maier, Babylon, Series 1, Top Gear, The Perfect Roadtrip II and The Passing Bells are all new to iTunes this week.
Dawn of the Planet of the Apes
Most of humanity has been wiped out by a deadly virus. The relationship between man and the increasingly intelligent ape community is in tatters. This is where we find ourselves in the latest instalment of the Planet of the Apes saga. It's survival of the fittest; guerrillas vs gorillas. Peace hangs by a thread and there are no clear winners. This is what is so engaging though - we are never forced to take sides. There are sides within sides, those we warm to, and those we don’t, within both communities. This uncertainty remains throughout, and is exactly what makes the film such a thrilling ride. That and the brilliance of the special effects and Andy Serkis’ performance as Caeser.
iTunes Extras include three never before seen deleted scenes as well as engaging interviews with the cast and crew
