Actress Hilary Duff once had sex in a public place.

The So Yesterday singer and former Lizzie McGuire star made the revelation during an Us Weekly online chat with her Younger castmates, but was a little sheepish as she confessed.

"I don't want to tell people this!"

Her co-stars, Sutton Foster, Debi Mazar and Nico Tortorella, were quick to poke fun at the 28-year-old, but Hilary did her best to get out of the conversation.

"I’ve never had sex before!" she joked as she changed her answer to the probing question during a game of Never Have I Ever, prompting Nico to remind her she's a mum to three-year-old son Luca.

Hilary shot back, "It was (an) immaculate conception!"

The star welcomed her little boy in March, 2012 with ex-husband Mike Comrie.

The couple split in January, 2014 after four-and-a-half years of marriage, and Hilary recently admitted that heading down the aisle again isn't at the top of her wishlist.

"I don't want to say I wouldn't get married again, but it's not important to me," she explained to Redbook magazine. "I don't feel I would need to be married to have another child. If I felt strongly enough toward someone or if someone felt strongly about it, I might say OK. But it's not essential."

Hilary also opened up about her struggle to balance work with life as a single mum.

"It's hard to say that you really can have it all," she added. "I think you can to a certain degree, but fully loaded, pedal-all-the-way-down is tough. You're missing out on something, either on the career or on the family. When I'm really busy with work, I feel extremely guilty."
