Tommy Chong to appear on That '90s Show

Tommy Chong is set to join the cast of That '90s Show.

After playing ageing hippie Leo Chingkwake on 65 episodes of That ‘70s Show between 1999 and 2006, the actor confirmed he would be appearing in the upcoming spin-off during the latest instalment of The Dark Mark Show.

“They gave me a call and I did my part,” the 84-year-old said. “They never gave me any instructions, so I don’t know if I’m supposed to be talking about it or not.”

He added, “I really don’t give a s**t to tell you the truth. I’ve got a big mouth. That’s what I’m known for… I’m back as Leo.”

That '90s Show is set to revolve around Leia Forman (Callie Haverda), the daughter of original characters Eric Forman (Topher Grace) and Donna Pinciotti (Laura Prepon).

That ‘70s Show castmembers Ashton Kutcher, Mila Kunis, and Wilmer Valderrama are also slated to make cameos.

However, Danny Masterson won’t be reprising his role as Steven Hyde. Masterson is scheduled to go on trial in August in relation to three charges of rape, facing up to 45 years in prison.

That '90s Show will premiere on Netflix. A release date has not yet been announced.
