Award-winning actor Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Kraven The Hunter, Bullet Train, Nocturnal Animals) has signed on to star in FUZE, directed by David Mackenzie (Academy Award-nominated Hell or High Water, Outlaw King, Starred Up), reuniting the actor and director after working together on Outlaw King in 2018.
Written by Ben Hopkins, FUZE opens on the discovery of an unexploded World War II bomb in a London construction site, sparking a mass evacution – the perfect cover for a heist.
The film is produced by Gillian Berrie (Outlaw King, Tetris) for Sigma Films and Sebastien Raybaud (The End We Start From, Greenland) and Callum Grant (Jackdaw, Cleaner) for Anton. Giles Nuttgens joins Mackenzie’s creative team as director of photography after previously colloborating together on Hell or High Water.

I had the idea of combining all the high stakes of an unexploded bomb with that of a bank robbery – clashing these two genres to create as much pressure as possible -in a context that feels as real as possible.
