The EE BAFTA Film Awards, hosted by David Tennant, took place this evening, with The Walt Disney Company achieving five wins for Searchlight Pictures’ Poor Things.

Poor Things was the second most decorated film of the evening taking home the awards for Leading Actress (Emma Stone), Special Visual Effects (Simon Hughes), Production Design (Shona Heath, James Price and Zsuzsa Mihalek), Costume Design (Holly Waddington) and Make-up & Hair (Nadia Stacey, Mark Coulier, Josh Weston).

The star-studded evening saw Emma Stone, Yorgos Lanthimos (Poor Things), Andrew Haigh, Claire Foy, Paul Mescal, Andrew Scott (All of Us Strangers), Vivian Oparah (Rye Lane) and nominees across numerous categories in attendance at London’s Royal Festival Hall to celebrate the best of British cinema.
