As A Minecraft Movie returns to the Official Film Chart summit for a sixth non-consecutive week, espionage and intrigue heat up at Number 2 with The Amateur. A pulse-pounding thriller from Walt Disney Studios that has viewers on the edge of their seats, it’s the highest chart position for the American action thriller.

Making a strong debut at Number 3 is Karate Kid: Legends, the highly anticipated reboot-sequel from Sony Pictures HE. Blending new martial arts talent with familiar faces, this bold new chapter in the iconic franchise packs a punch, thrilling both longtime fans and a new generation alike.

Elsewhere in the Top 10, faith-based crime drama Sinners (4) moves up from tenth, while Universal Pictures dominates with three titles in the chart: Wicked (5), the musical fantasy that continues to enchant; Bridget Jones: Mad About The Boy (No. 7), which sees Renée Zellweger return in her beloved role; and legacy blockbusters Jurassic World: Dominion (8) and Jurassic Park (9), which continue to roar with audiences.

Marvel’s Thunderbolts* (6) from Walt Disney holds strong as superhero fans flock to see the darker side of the MCU. Rounding off the chart is The Penguin Lessons (10), Lionsgate’s touching adaptation of the bestselling book, which waddles into hearts with its mix of humour and heartfelt emotion.
