Academy Award-winning actress Olivia Colman (The Crown, Paddington in Peru, The Roses) has debuted her new merchandise collab with national charity Epilepsy Action. A t-shirt and tote bag is available in the new collection, both featuring an original design by Olivia herself, with the launch celebrating Epilepsy Action’s upcoming 75th anniversary.

The tote bag and t-shirt showcase Olivia’s signature National Doodle Day design, ‘Wellies in a Puddle’. This playful, colourful artwork appears boldly on the back of the t-shirt and is the star of the show on the tote. Olivia’s iconic signature is featured on the front of the tee, while both items also sport the Epilepsy Action logo.

Olivia has shown ongoing support for Epilepsy Action over the past few years, by participating in National Doodle Day across three different years. National Doodle Day is an annual fundraising event run by Epilepsy Action, in which hundreds of artists and celebrities create doodles which are auctioned, with all profits going to the charity. Olivia’s artwork raised almost £400 in last year's auction.

Epilepsy Action is a national charity, supporting people with epilepsy across the UK. There are around 630,000 people living with epilepsy in the UK, which amounts to 1 in 100 people. The charity provides many life-changing services including an award-winning helpline, talk & support groups, a one-to-one befriending service and PIF tick approved health information pages.

National Doodle Day Lead, Michael King, said: “We’re absolutely delighted with this unique collab with Olivia, and couldn’t be more grateful for her support.

“Our new t-shirts and tote bags are effortlessly trendy, with Olivia’s personal design, and all profits made from them are going to an amazing cause. Epilepsy Action runs some incredible services to support people with epilepsy, but this is only possible with the generous support of people fundraising or donating to the charity.

“Buying just one bundle, which includes a t-shirt and tote bag, can support the recruitment and training of a talk & support group leader, who will go on to provide life-changing support for people with epilepsy.”

“Although Olivia herself doesn’t have a connection to epilepsy, she is a leading example of how those without epilepsy can still be a force for change. Epilepsy Action are determined to create a ‘World Without Limits’ for people with epilepsy, and we need everyone on-board in order to achieve this. People with epilepsy can’t fight for change alone.”

Totes and t-shirts can be purchased via Olivia Colman x Epilepsy Action - Epilepsy Action. Pre-orders are open until the Autumn.
