For a second consecutive week, the haunting Southern Gothic drama Sinners has held firm at Number 1 on the Official UK Film Chart. Buoyed by its recent success at the Oscars, the Warner Bros. epic continues to captivate home audiences with its visceral tale of guilt and supernatural dread. The film follows twin brothers who return to their Mississippi hometown seeking a fresh start, only to find themselves ensnared by a rising evil that refuses to let the past stay buried.

While Sinners maintains its grip on the summit, the rest of the Top 5 has seen a significant shake-up. Climbing one place to Number 2 is the sprawling action odyssey One Battle After Another. The film’s relentless spectacle and emotionally charged combat sequences have made it a powerhouse on the digital charts. Consequently, the musical phenomenon Wicked – For Good slips to Number 3. Despite the slight drop, the finale to Elphaba and Glinda’s journey remains a titan of the chart, having already secured four non-consecutive weeks at the top.

The week’s most dramatic movement comes from Anaconda (2025). The high-octane creature-feature reboot has slithered up an incredible 17 places to land at Number 4. Its modern visual effects and jungle-set suspense have clearly struck a nerve with thrill-seekers. Not far behind, the web-slinger proves his enduring popularity as Spider-Man: No Way Home rises to Number 5, followed closely by the sci-fi masterpiece Dune (2021) at Number 6.

The lower half of the Top 10 sees the tense drama Shelter at Number 7, while the week’s highest new entry, Send Help, debuts at Number 8. This survival thriller has quickly gripped viewers with its "overwhelming odds" premise. Meanwhile, the "Spider-Verse" momentum continues as Spider-Man: Homecoming swings back into the charts at Number 9. Finally, the evergreen The Super Mario Bros. Movie rounds out the countdown at Number 10, proving that Nintendo’s colorful adventure remains a staple for UK families.
