The Universal Pictures biographical drama Michael has successfully continued its commercial reign across the United Kingdom, holding firm at Number 1 on the Official Film Chart for a second consecutive week. The high-profile cinematic release chronicles the complex life and musical legacy of Michael Jackson, tracing his historic journey from his early childhood discovery as the standout lead singer of the Jackson 5 to his global ascent as one of the most influential, ambitious, and era-defining entertainers of all time.

The musical biopic managed to stay ahead of the acclaimed sci-fi adventure Project Hail Mary, which holds steady at Number 2 this week to extend its own highly successful run in the chart's upper tier. Meanwhile, the chart witnessed a massive re-entry at Number 3 for the archival musical release Epic - Elvis Presley In Concert, landing just ahead of the blockbuster franchise sequel Avatar: Fire and Ash, which climbed one position to secure the Number 4 spot.

Rounding out the top half of the standings, the action-heavy sequel Mortal Kombat 2 dipped one place to land at Number 5. Immediately following is the week's highest brand-new entry, The Magic Faraway Tree, which made its official chart debut at Number 6. Based on Enid Blyton’s beloved children’s book series, the family fantasy follows a modern family who relocate to the English countryside, where the children discover an enchanted tree populated by eccentric residents and ever-changing magical lands. The nostalgic project stars Claire Foy and Andrew Garfield as parents Polly and Tim.

The lower portion of the tier saw significant movement, led by a major performance from The Good Boy, which skyrocketed 11 places to claim Number 7. Conversely, the horror sequel Scream 7 faced a downward trend, dropping five places to settle at Number 8. Former chart-topper The Super Mario Galaxy Movie remains a popular choice for home audiences at Number 9, while the musical adaptation Wicked - For Good climbed back into the top flight to round out the countdown at Number 10.
