Johnny Depp surprises fans at San Diego Comic-Con to debut Ebenezer trailer

Johnny Depp made a surprise appearance as Ebenezer Scrooge at San Diego Comic-Con, shocking fans at the "Ebenezer’s Office" interactive activation before heading to Hall H to introduce the new trailer for his upcoming film, Ebenezer. Presented by Paramount Pictures in association with Domain Entertainment, the dark new take on Charles Dickens’ classic holiday tale is directed by acclaimed filmmaker Ti West (X, Pearl, MaXXXine).

The film promises a reimagining of the iconic Christmas story told like never before under West’s distinct directorial vision. Written by Nathaniel Halpern and produced by Emma Watts, the production is brought to the screen by Wattsco and IN.2 Films.
