Burberry has released its first-ever bag campaign, which features a naked Bella Hadid really showing off the accessory.

Spotlighting the new Pocket bag, an oversized cross-body bag featuring a large front pocket, Bella models an orange version of the accessory completely nude, while she dons a full leather look to pose with a black-trimmed version in another of the images that have been released.

"A lot of my creative concepts come from discovering old house codes and then creating new ones. I have always loved going into the archives and that is where I found the inspiration for this Pocket bag," said Burberry head Riccardo Tisci in a statement.

Working with some of his long-term collaborators, including stylist Katy England and photographers Inez Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin, the shoot marked the last pre-lockdown project for Burberry.

Regarding Bella posing inside a wooden storage container alongside panther statues, Tisci explained that he wanted to bring to life a "feline femininity" theme through Bella, a nod to the animal kingdom concept founder Thomas Burberry introduced during his time at his namesake label.

It's also a concept that inspires Tisci personally.

"Animals have always been a creative obsession and signature of mine and it was so amazing to see Bella Hadid bring this to life as the panther," he said.
