Kayleigh-Paige Rees and West End star Jodie Steele to star in ‘All About Casey’

‘Sanditon’ star Kayleigh-Paige Rees and West End star Jodie Steele to star in limited series ‘All About Casey’ to hit Amazon Prime this summer.

Jodie Steele is a British actress, singer, dancer, and teacher. She played Katherine Howard in the 2019-20 UK Tour of Six the Musical, and is probably best known for playing Elphaba in Wicked, Heather Chandler in Heathers and Sherrie in Rock of Ages.

Kayleigh-Paige Rees is best known for her role as Julia Beaufort in ITV/PBS Masterpiece ‘Sanditon’, as well as Lola in ‘Faulty Roots’ around teenage mental health.

‘All About Casey’ is a six part series being produced by Raspberry Films and will be distributed on Amazon Prime this summer. Rees will play the lead of Casey and Steele will play the role of Casey’s sister Evie. Sarah Alexandra-Marks will play Casey’s best friend Kia.
‘All About Casey’ is written and will be directed by newcomer Zandie Thornton.

‘All About Casey’ is a sitcom all around a British woman in her 20's called Casey. Casey tries her best, but navigating her twenties is hard work. Generally, not the most graceful individual, it’s safe to say she ungracefully bundles her way through life’s hurdles rather than jumping them and has a real knack for making everything more complicated than it ought to be.

Aswell as starring in the series, Rees is part of the production team and had this to say about the show;
‘We really wanted to make a series that shows the representation of real, diverse women and give a voice to the everyday girl just trying to get through life. We are so excited for Jodie to be joining us on this production, she’s such a delight!’
