Well I love films whether be it at the Cinema, on DVD or Satellite and so I hope you like the review as much as I enjoyed gathering the material.

The film has great dialect and attention to detail which is what we have grown accustomed to with Tarrantino's work so far. The opening music initially sets you in the mood for an afternoon of high jinx at the 'O.K. Corral', but as the first scene fades in you are confronted with a picturesque French farm house, complete with cows grazing in a field. Quite soon the tranquillity is smashed, by the fangs of SS atrocity creating the personal angel for the film's storyline. The adventure and expected violence comes from Pitt and his band of lunatic Jewish Americans seeking revenge both on a personal and non-personal leve;. The 'Bastards' roles are played well and their main foe the Jew Hunter is played exceptionally well in being both believable and someone you thankfully love to hate. As you progress through the film it can be a little slow in my opinion but this is necessary to ensure the film runs smoothly. Personally, I prefer the fleshing out of the characters in this case giving an insight in to the psyche of the German hero and the fanciful/amusing vision of Hitler and his henchmen. You can't help think however that as you follow the acts of the bastards that they might just be as moralistically questionable as those on which they inflict some serious injuries. - 'Look out for the head vs. bat fight - it nearly made me choke on my popcorn.'  This is then accompanied by the overzealous use of machine guns in a burning building.

Overall it's a good film, but not a great film and the acting at times is believable and at others amusing. I especially like the use of Mr Wolf (Pulp Fiction) as the voice of the American general and Mike Myers as the amusing assistant to Churchill although he may not be winning an Oscar any time soon for his precious minutes of screen time.
