Barry Navidi interview

Barry Navidi's is an Iranian born producer, now living in America, that has enjoyed more than his fair share of success producing a string of successful multi-million dollar films.

His CV boasts a select member of actors and actresses he admits to having been lucky to work with in various high profile films, but none more closely than the legend that is Al Pacino.

Having first worked with Al in 'The Merchant of Venice' and most recently in 'Wilde Salome' and soon in another Shakespeare classic, 'King Lear', a strong friendship has formed between the two that has led to Barry masterminding a new project 'An Audience with Al Pacino' with plans to take it across the globe in live format.

On his return from The Venice Film Festival, after the first showing of 'Wilde Salome' with Al Pacino, Film News had the fortunate opportunity to catch-up with Barry in his hotel suite to find out the inside story.
