Happy Feet Two Premiere

Yesterday Film-News.co.uk were luck enough to grab a few minutes with the stars at the pre-party of the animated Happy Feet Two European premiere.

The Grand Connaught Rooms were transformed into a winterwonderland complete with real snow falling onto the heads of the lucky children trying out the various ice themed games set up for their pleasure.

A breif synopsis is below along with our red carpet interviews with Robin Williams, Elija Wood, Sofia Vergera and director George Miller.

Mumble (Elijah Wood), the master of tap, has a problem because his tiny son, Erik, is choreo-phobic. Reluctant to dance, Erik runs away and encounters The Mighty Sven (Hank Azaria)—a penguin who can fly! Mumble has no hope of competing with this charismatic new role model, but things get worse when the world is shaken by powerful forces. Erik learns of his father’s “guts and grit” as Mumble brings together the penguin nations and all manner of fabulous creatures—from tiny krill to giant elephant seals—to put things right.

HAPPY FEET TWO is directed by George Miller, Oscar®-winning creator of the original Happy Feet. The film features the voices of Elijah Wood as Mumble, Robin Williams as Ramon/ Lovelace, Hank Azaria as The Mighty Sven, Alecia Moore (P!nk) Gloria – singing voice, Brad Pitt and Matt Damon as the krills, Sofia Vergara as Carmen, Common, Hugo Weaving as Noah, Magda Szubanski as Miss Viola, Anthony LaPaglia as Boss Skua, Richard Carter and Benjamin “Lil P-Nut” Flores, Jr.

HAPPY FEET 2 will be released in 3D in cinemas nationwide and 2D in select cinemas by Warner Bros. Pictures on 2 DECEMBER 2011.
