Yahzaa Aaadrenaliiini! Each episode of this adrenalin-charged cartoon series indicates the mayhem that is to follow with this dynamic greeting.

The BAFTA-winning kids series had its origins as a British review act in the 1990’s, written and performed by The Pox (aka Dan Chambers, Mark Huckerby and Nick Ostler). Ambitious to turn their act into animation, the trio presented their ideas to UK studio Pesky (who had just been approached by the BBC to develop a new Flash Animation series for its CBBC website) and The Amazing Adrenalini Brothers cartoon was born!

Broadcasters picked up these shorts across America, Europe and Japan, where it won audience awards at animation festivals. The success led to a collaboration with Canadian Studio B Productions, co-producing a staggering 78 x 7 minutes of high octane action.

The Amazing Adrenalini Brothers are travelling showmen hailing from the mysterious land of Réndøosîa, a fictional Eastern European country that experiences an unusually high rate of natural disasters. The three brothers - Xan, Enk and Adi - eat, sleep and breathe danger while touring around the world staging ridiculously hazardous stunts. It should be added they do this not so much to make a living but because they enjoy the adrenaline rush!
None of them speak any English. Instead, they communicate in their native Rendoosian, a language that sounds almost nonsensical to our ears. For example, rok moozik means rock music, and "Vukala! Oh, noompla! Scramalam!" translates as "Look out! Oh, no! Let's get out of here!" Hilarious!

The characters in each flamboyant episode are as outrageous as the adventures the brothers get involved in. While some stories are madcap adventures thought-up from scratch (‘Saddles of Insanity!’ / ‘Kilts of Uproar!’ / ‘Kangaroos of Menace!’), other stories are a madcap take on rok moozik (‘Guitars of Destiny’ is a send-up of KISS/heavy metal music), historic events (‘Cruise of Disaster’ bears a nod to Titanic) or cult movies (‘Flowers of Dread’ is a send-up of ‘Little Shop Of Horrors’).

Studiocanal releases all 78 episodes as a 3-disc DVD set, that’s ENDLESS fun not just for kids but for grown-up kids, too.
